The 1,325 sq. ft. FabCab home looks out on a community garden.
We’re tickled about our latest project — a TimberCab in Port Townsend, Washington.
We helped these latest FabCab clients meet their long term goals of designing a home that helps them stay healthy for years to come and provides plenty of room to accommodate visitors and grandchildren. The result is an efficient 2-bed, 2-bath home with Universal Design (UD) features throughout — it’s a dream come true.
Recessed cabinets under the sink provide plenty of knee space.
Pull out drawers make it easy for anyone to load and unload the dishwasher.
Tip-On drawers have concealed hardware for a cleaner design and uncomplicated access.
The pot filler faucet over the gas cooktop offers additional safety for filling oversized cookware. The microwave oven features drawer for easier access.
The beautiful teak bench is not only a durable and elegant addition, it also folds up in this zero-step shower.
Folding doors house the washer/dryer in the home’s second bathroom. The attractive, sturdy grab bars act double duty as towel racks.
i love the planning, the thought that went into this design! A beautiful home .. at the age of 73, active and embracing life .. I could live here, never giving a thought to aging and how I would accommodate any physical challenges that might arise. Great job!
This home is very interesting. Can you share pricing? I assume we would put in the foundation. How faw away do you ship?
Thank you.
Warm Regards,
Lisa Johnson
